Esta is a Wellbeing and Support Coordinator and has been with St John for 5 years. Esta has a BSc Health Sciences, a Diploma of Counselling and is a First Aid for Mental Health Instructor. Her previous experience includes work in a severe and persistent mental health coordinating program in the Goldfields and Midwest where she lived for 4 years. Prior to this she worked in health for 10 years.

Esta is passionate about good mental health, resiliency and, of course, good food which works well with her portfolio as Wellbeing Education Sessions run weekly relate to these topics. With a young family, time is more limited now but self-care and eating well sit high on her interest list. The small things have become more important – enjoying a good coffee, going for a walk and watching a sunset, eating a home-cooked meal, finding 10 minutes to meditate, listening to an audiobook.

Esta loves to bake her own bread and desserts from scratch. She fills her cup with self-care activities like walks, yoga, journalling club, women’s circles, mindfulness and sound healings and loves family dance parties with her family before bed.
