Gemma is a Wellbeing & Support Coordinator and she has been with the team for four years and oversees the Wellbeing Supporters program. She is a counsellor with seven years’ experience working in the community mental health sector. During this time, she facilitated programs for the Department of Corrective services and Mental Health Commission WA in suicide prevention, domestic violence, and offender rehabilitation. Originally from the UK, she has lived in Perth for 13 years and also spent time living in Spain. Prior to becoming a counsellor, Gemma’s background is in Human Resources. Gemma is passionate about supporting others and exploring individuals’ mental health and well-being experiences.
Outside of work Gemma enjoys time at the beach, walking K9 friends, good food with friends, running and yoga.
Qualifications: Master of Counselling, Bachelor of Management Studies (HR and Spanish).
