Everyone is different and when someone makes the effort to seek assistance, the first session is always a comprehensive interview with the aim of gaining an overall understanding of that person, their life and the way they go about things. Ways to assist the person to make change are explored using cognitive behavioural therapy, interpersonal approaches and understanding the types of core beliefs and assumptions that may be filtering experience in unhelpful ways. Seeing a Clinical Psychologist involves a collaborative process with change being the aim. Appointments are available Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
