About Angela Edenburg

Angela Edenburg is a Clinical Psychologist with a strong reputation for delivering client-centred, trauma-informed psychological care to individuals across the lifespan. With over 15 years of experience in both public and private sectors, she brings a deep understanding of complex mental health presentations and a commitment to compassionate, evidence-based practice.

Angela currently works in private practice at Bridgetown Psychology, while also serving as a Senior School Psychologist with the Department of Education, a role she has held since 2008. She is skilled in psychological assessment, diagnosis, and the integration of multiple therapeutic approaches to support clients in achieving meaningful, values-aligned outcomes.

Specialising in trauma, Angela holds advanced certification in EMDR and incorporates a range of modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing. Her trauma work is distinguished by a careful balance of symptom reduction and deeper emotional processing, always delivered within a safe, respectful therapeutic relationship.

Angela is a registered Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA and holds a Master of Psychology (Clinical) from Charles Sturt University. She is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society and an associate member of the EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA).
