Alyssa’s particular interest is the impact of trauma on mental health, wellbeing and recovery, understanding the impact trauma can have in many different aspects of life. Alyssa is experienced in the areas of Childhood trauma, cPTSD/PTSD, Anxiety, Adjustment disorder, Grief and Loss, Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and trauma with First Responders and Military, and in providing EAP services.

 Alyssa has undergone specialist training in:

·         Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)

·         Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

·         Schema Therapy

·         Image Rescripting

·         Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE)

·         Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
