St John work asks a lot of the people who show up, and of the people who love them.
Whether you’re a volunteer giving your weekends, a paid staff member carrying years of critical incidents, or a family member watching someone you love change — the impact is real, and it deserves proper support.
We specialise in trauma therapy that works at the level of the nervous system and the body, not just the thinking mind. We use EMDR, parts work, and somatic approaches because we know that real change doesn’t come from talking alone.
There’s no judgment here about how you’re coping, or not coping. Just experienced clinicians who understand what prolonged stress and trauma actually do to a person and how to help you find your way through it.
A lot of people write off EAP before they’ve tried it and honestly, we understand why. Six sessions can feel like a drop in the ocean when you’ve been holding this stuff for years. But the right six sessions, with the right approach, can move the needle in ways that surprise you. We’ll use the time well. And if it makes sense to keep going, we’ll make that easy.
In-person sessions in Midland & Ellenbrook, Perth. Telehealth available nationally. Individual and couples sessions offered.
